A Bangin’ Hair Bargain

I have been raving on about this hair product ever since I managed to wangle it as a freebie from the 1st The Only Way Is Blogging Event (side note – whose lovely faces will I be seeing at the next one? It’s next weekend! More details here). I used up a bottle in weeks and have been on the hunt for it ever since, well my trip to the Nottingham branch was finally fruitful – look what I managed to find.

Yep, it’s the Dove Nourishing Oil Care Express Treatment Conditioner (phew, what a mouthful), it says on the bottle that this stuff is 3 times as nourishing as a normal conditioner and I have to agree! It’s basically a treatment and conditioner in one, it even comes out of the tube stripy like a toothpate – the white stripe is the normal conditioner and the yellow stripe contains the ‘Nutri-Oil’ treatment. I use it everytime I wash my hair after shampooing and in place of a conditioner, I work it through my hair with my fingers and leave it on for around 3-5 mins before I wash it off. Before I blow dry my hair I pop one of my many oils through the ends and my hair is beautifully shiny and soft. But I have missed out the best bit – all Dove products in Boots are currently half price, so that meant that this gem was only £1.69, of course I couldn’t help picking up 2 ;) I highly recommend legging it down to your local Boots cause as I mentioned in my haircare video Dove conditioners have really been doing it for me at the moment, even just the normal conditioner from this Nourishing Oil Care range has worked pretty fab on my hair!

    That’s absolutely adorable! I love finding tea rooms, they are scarce here unfortunately. Lovely post! I’ve been using Moroccan Argan Oil in my hair – might have to try this dove product though.

    I have the Dove Nourishing Oil Shampoo&Conditioner and it is seriously ahh-mazing stuff! Think I will deffo have to try out this treatment too, but if it’s as good as the shamp/cond then im sure its pretty fab! xx

    I went on the hunt for this conditioner today as my sample from Marie Claire ran out. Boots had the shampoo but not the conditioner. Bad times. But then I found this on offer in Superdrug for £1.20! I picked up two :D xx

    Ooooh what a lovely tea shop! I loooove finding little places like that were I can go for a nice cuppa ;)   OMG absolutely loved this conditioner as well, has to be one of the best I’ve used & it came at a perfick time as my hair was in a really bad way, but this made it super soft :) I’ll be coming to the next event again too! *big grin* can’t wait, should be good, really enjoyed the last one. Hopefully will get to meet you this time! lol!

    I tried the Dove Damage Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner, and of course- the normal shampoo! It is honestly the BEST shampoo and conditioner I have EVER used! I love it so much, it makes my hair super soft and shiny too!

    Going to pick one of these up tomorrow on your recommendation! It sounds amazing (: My John Frieda conditoner leaves my hair feeling so heavy, I can’t get it to work in my favour at all. That teahouse looks so perfect, we have a similar teahouse in Southampton that I’m dying to visit!

    I got a little sample tube of this conditioner with a Marie Claire (I think?) a few months ago. I loved it the first time I used it but after a few more uses I felt it did slightly weigh down on my hair. I think it’s really only because my hair is quite thin and soft in general but sad times as I wanted to love this because it is really cheap. I’ve now discovered Joico Intense Hydrator and will probably never look back! Le yay.
