Usually when I purchase something, I quietly write it down in my notepad and add it to my list of ‘Recently Purchased Items That I Haven’t Told People About Yet’ list. I wait until the list no longer fits on one page and finally get off my derrière to film a haul video. However, every now and again something slips through this process and I just have to alert you guys about my latest purchase – hence the child-like ‘Look What I Got’ title ;) I have been lusting after this product for probably over a year now, so when I came home to see with my name on it I just had to write a blog post about it immediately!

The Bioderma Créaline H20 Cleansing Solution is something I have been after for ages! It has quite a loyal following the the beauty world, and is said to be the makeup remover of choice for makeup artists in the industry. Bioderma are known for producing ‘micellar’ solutions, which are makeup removers that basically ‘eat-up’ the makeup instead of spreading it all around your face which some cleansers can do. Formulated to be as gentle as water, it’s fragrance free, suitable for use around the eyes and remove waterproof makeup. This stuff is basically the best of both works – gentle, yet effective. It’s super easy to use, just dampen a cotton pad with it and wipe over face to remove makeup, it doesn’t even need rinsing off, although I will follow it with my usual Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. I will just use this in place of my baby wipes to remove the bulk of my makeup, but the whole ‘no-rising’ thing may come in very handy for when I’m feeling lazy (or perhaps a little tipsy)! If you haven’t heard of Bioderma before, they are a French pharmacy brand, really easy to get hold of across the channel, but unfortunately very difficult to find over here. After various Twitter pleas as to stocks of this stuff in the UK, I winded up on ebay – a site that I really haven’t used for ages, probably since my Ty Beanie Baby stage back when I was 8. However I found this seller, who had really good feedback and sold it for a pretty reasonable price. This 500ml bottle set me back around £16 with 1st class P&P and it arrived in 3 days, well packaged and fully-sealed – v.impressed! Unfortunately I picked up the last 500ml he had in stock, but there are some of the 100ml smaller bottles in stock, but keep an eye out as I’m sure he will re-stock soon. I’ll keep you updated with how I get on, but I used it take off the remains of last night’s makeup this morning and it performed well! I have heard this stuff is a lot cheaper in France so if you’re ever over there then it might be worth stocking up! I think I have just thought of the perfect excuse for a trip to Paris :)

Cannot believe how expensive is it to get it in the UK, it’s half price here. Such a great produce though :) x

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this for ages too – so annoying that it’s so difficult to get hold of in the UK. I’ll definitely be checking out eBay for it though…xxx

PS I went through a MAJOR Beanie Babies obsession too ;)

I LOVE THIS STUFF! I am from Canada, but live in the UK…and just before coming back to the UK came across this beautiful stuff in my local drugstore and for real gasped. I recall looking around like a crazy person scared that someone was going to come and snatch the bottles out of my hands. For real. I stocked up (the best I could) before coming back to the UK and am seriously rationing what I have got left. Paris is definitely in the near future! haha! xo

This is really lovely stuff, I always have some of it in my kit for jobs.
I normally buy it from the same seller on eBay, and it’s about £5 cheaper in France so it’s not a massive difference.
I used it every day for months and I would just say to look out for one thing – I noticed my eye area drying out slightly, as well as a few fine lines so just keep a watch on that!

  • Tracey Marshall

hey, i got this yesterday in a bordeaux pharmacy, actually 2 x 500ml bottles on offer for 15euro for the 2. so its really cheap in france.i had a 100ml bottle before but i gave it away to a friend in a box i made up for her birthday (using a glossybox). so i never got to use it. this is my last week in france after living here for 5 years…and i return home to ireland next week so i stocked up on this. also i gave the elie saab to my friend in the glossybox but yesterday sephora gave me a sample as i bought stuff in the sale (french sales start late). it reminds me of giorgio beverly hills.

  • http://missjhoang.blogspot.com/ Julie Hoang

I keep seeing this on blogs! I really want to try it too! They have it on sara but its the sensitive skin version!

  • Viviianna

Thanks for talking about this, really want to try this and have been debating whether to get it or not, now i will defs pick it up =) xx

  • http://twitter.com/lauramccaughey Laura McCaughey

This looks awesome! I was just wondering, do you use this with your clarisonic? And if not what do you use with your clarisonic or how does that fit into your routine? Thanks! xx

    • http://www.viviannadoesmakeup.com/ Vivianna

I use it as a makeup remover, before I use my Clarisonic :)

  • Roxana

You can’t use this with the Clarisonic, it’s basically like a water. Try the Cleans&Polish from Liz Earle instead. You just use it on a cotton pad to wipe off all the makeup and what’s gorgeous about Bioderma is that it doesn’t sting your eyes at all. I even use it on my upper waterline because I love tightlining with a gel liner. It’s soap free, fragrance free, alcohol free, formulated for sensitive skin.

    • http://www.viviannadoesmakeup.com/ Vivianna

Yes I know, I use it as a makeup remover before I use my usual cleanser :)

  • Jesschallinor

Hiii, you are one of the people who have inspired me to make my blog, I hope to vlog soon but need to buy a camera first so please read my only blog entry and keep checking for more…..

Is anyone interested in buying this product from me?
I ordered 4 500ml bottles from France (it came in packs of 2, and I thought I’d order more to justify the shipping costs) thinking it would be the perfect make-up remover but it has somehow broke me out?! I really enjoy using it as it definitely takes off all my make-up but is leaving me covered with little pimples and spots.
I have 3 unopened bottles I am selling for £10 each + P&P (posting from UK so about £3 postage). If anyone is interested please reply to this comment or email ([email protected]) or tweet (@melissamcf13) me! Melissa xx
