I go in fits and starts with nails. Once in a while everything will get a little nail-centric round these parts, then my interest will die down until another Essie collection makes an appearance. At the moment, if you couldn’t tell already tell by my wrap escapades, sheer colour love-in and glitter greed posts, I’m most definitely in the grips of a nail phase. So I thought I’d share my manicure routine. It’s a little extensive with 10 steps in all, but nothing that can’t be squished in to a quick lunchbreak or an already extensive weekend pamper. Everything is pretty cheap – you could probably get the whole mani tool works for around £20 with some clever drugstore hunting and it’s super easy to imitate. Hey if ol’ shakey hands over here can master it, so can you.

Nice video! The brushes from the Essie nailpolishes are indeed very good! They also have a beautiful range of colours. I’m very curious about the Opi “Nail envy” It seems to be very good and I really need something to harden my nails. They a little bit damaged because I had to file them a lot. ( I’m following a nail styling course)

Nail Envy is fab – it lasts forever and I’ve found it to work really well at strengthening my nails :)

Nice routine, quite similar to mine. Have you tried the Mavala Mavadry topcoat ? It’s amazing, so much better than Seche Vite or INM Out the door ! It doesn’t get thick and gloopy and dries super fast ! You can order it from Feelunique and Beautybay :)

No I haven’t – will add it to my list :)

This explains why your nails look so much nicer than mine. I will have to revamp my manicure routine and invest in that gorgeous colour! My current fave has been midnight cami by essie.
