You know when you feel like you’re wearing a colour so bright on your talons that you could probably go out wearing a paper bag and nobody would notice? Non? Just me? Well that’s how I feel today. For two days ago I gave myself a mani with Essie’s Mint Candy Apple and I bloomin’ love it. Super summery, eye-catching and so brilliantly bold I don’t think I’ve stopped looking at ‘em since I painted them! Two coats with the new diffusion line brush, a top coat and you’re laughing.

Anyways, here’s a quick run down of what products I slapped on my face this morning. I’ve been testing out a few new bases recently to try and wean myself off my beloved Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser, and today I gave the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Medium a go for the first time. So far I’m not too convinced, it seems to ‘sit’ on my skin slightly and feel a tiny bit greasy, but I’ll keep you updated. Concealer I used the usual combo of By Terry Touche Veloutee in 3 under the eyes and the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Medium over spotty areas (luverly). I’m also trying out a new bronzer and blush and will let you in on those tomorrow (although if you’ve seen my Instagram that’s already rumbled, DOH). My eyebrows are growing back (hooray!), so all that they needed was a little bit of the Anastasia Brow Gel in Espresso brushed through them to keep them in place. For my eyes I went for L’Oreal Telescopic Waterproof Mascara with a wash of the Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow in Pale Barley No.22 all over the lid. And finally for lips I applied a coat Of Buxom’s Big and Healthy Lip Cream in Creamsicle.

I’m off out tonight for a meal with my main ladies and then to a concert to see one of our friends perform and bop around like I’m 17 again so I don’t think I’ll go for the reusable bag option, most likely I’ll be decked out in a COS cream tunic with some jeans and sandals.
