Tinted Moisturiser Ramble

The amazing thing about Youtube is that instead of me typing away drivel into my keyboard which results in my regular dissertation-sized blog posts, you get to see this in action and the video above demonstrates exactly what I’m talking about – a makeup madness ramble. But that’s what it’s all about isn’t it? So here is my latest instalment, all about my (six!) everyday tinted moisturisers that I reach for. Unfortunately there isn’t a cheaper option in there, but that’s simply because I haven’t found one that I’ve liked, but I’ll keep my eyes out for you for anything that gets the Anna stamp of approval. Have any of you jumped ship to lighter coverage tinted moisturisers recently? What are your favourites?

I have tried a couple of BB creams but never a tinted moisturiser. I think I might have to give the Laura Mercier one a go!

I think the hourglass tinted moisturiser is really good too.

I have bought a BB cream as soon as I got to know about them! I have the L’Oreal Paris one, but never tried a tinted moisturiser (is there a difference?) :) x

I think I prefer the BB creams to tinted moisturisers- they’re cheaper foe one thing!  But the Origins VitaZing does sound tempting…

I’m really tempted to purchase the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser but I’m slightly worried that the palest shade might not be pale enough. That might be me being ridiculous and having a case of the “super pale paranoia” though. I’ll definitely be taking a trip to space NK soon to check it out! Great video!

Hi Anna have you tried the Liz Earls skin tint? I found it not quite right for the.winter  months but am loving it now.

  • Caitlin Ross

I love the Stila spf 30 oil-free tinted moisturiser, I think its discontinued but you can find it on-line good colour selection aswell. Also the Nivea Visage Daily Essentials tinted moisturising day cream is really good I got mine from superdrug!

The Origins BB cream is the only one of the 5 I’ve tried, only because most shades don’t run dark enough! Might have to check out the Laura Mercier one, is there any difference in coverage?

  • Derouchey

I want all of them! :)

I own the Laura mercier tinted moisturiser and i love it! I have an oily complexion and i find that this oil-free formulation worked better at keeping my oils at bay compared with other tinted moisturisers out there. I do however want to try the Origins vitazing because i have heard and read so many raves about it :) Tinted moisturiser taught me that i really do not need a full face of make-up to even out my skintone. Thanks for sharing~xxx

Loved this video! I’ve used the Smashbox tinted moisturiser but they only have 3 shades and none of them are a close enough match. I’ve been using a sample of the Laura Mercier oil free one and caramel is an EXACT match! By default, I’m going to have to purchase this one. :p x

I was a complete tinted moisturiser snob until I tried the No 7 BB cream for normal-oily skin. It’s really is amazing, especially if you are looking for something to use those £5 vouchers up on!

  • Madeleine

I just received a sample of the Estee Lauder BB Cream and am loving it so far.

  • An-An
