Quick question – what’s your latest makeup discovery? I know I’m always blathering on about the newest beauty bits on the block, but today I want to hear your most recent ‘can’t put down’ product. Of course I thought I’d throw in what my answer would be and if I’m honest it’s a split between three things, I know, I know; a lipstick, a nail polish remover and an eyeliner. Let’s talk lips. The new formula of Laura Mercier’s Gel Lipsticks is bloomin’ marvellous – smooth, creamy and in the shade Heartbreaker, adds a pop of pink to your pout without looking too overboard. Words can’t even begin to describe my love for the finger and toe version of Bourjois’ Magic Nail Polish Remover. Think the standard one but in a foamy bit in the lid especially for toes. I know I’m just being naughty now, but Charlotte Tilbury’s Rock ‘n’ Kohl Liner in Marlene Midnight is my latest liner love. The easiest way to coax in colour when it comes to eye makeup. So over to you…

I recently purchased the This Works Perfect Look Skin Miracle and I LOVE it. I’m currently in Thailand so I just slap it on over sunscreen to get that “at least I have something on” look – perfect for lazy beach days (every day, haha).

  • Kiarrah

I finally got the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and nothing beats it

  • Anna Blush

I’ve been using and loving Daniel Sandler’s brown liner. It’s so soft and blendable, gives such natural definition x

I love the Honey Bronzer from the Body Shop. Pale as I am I thought I could never find the perfect bronzer, but I was wrong. Can’t live without it!

My latest makeup discovery, and might as well now be my holy grail, is e.l.f. Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder. For only $3, this product is a miracle in powder form!

  • Ana karina

Mac Paintpots! They are just too amazing! Easy to apply and they so not budge. I used them every day. I have the colors Painterly, Groundwork, Constructivist and Eclair <3

  • Sophie Isabella D.

Definitely the Armani Rouge Ecstasy CC lipsticks- I think you’d like them actually, Anna!

  • Sophie ♥

This is a newfound love. A VDM recommendation actually! The Sephora #45 brush. It’s my favourite for bases at the moment and it is so soft! Love.

I love Gosh Prime ‘n’ Set Powder – it’s a great transparent loose powder which I use to mattify my T zone and set my undereye concealer. It’s not quite as amazing as NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder (which is incredibly finely milled and long-lasting), but for less than a tenner, the Gosh powder is a great alternative. In fact, it’s £7.99 at Superdrug atm: http://www.superdrug.com/face-make-up/gosh-powder-prime-and-set/invt/879457

  • Linsay

MAC Sweet Satisfaction eyeshadow – think Patina but lighter and more golden… But less orange toned than All That Glitters. Its shimmery but not at all glittery – it looks almost wet when on the eye. It’s amazing! I’ve worn it every day since I got it, it makes my eyes look really blue but it’s still really effortless and not too ‘done’ :)

Maybe a little late on cream blushes, but I discovered Max Factor’s cream blush in Hard Candy, very similar to Bobbi Brown’s blush in Hibiscus!

I would appreciate it if you could visit my blog for my first post! Thank you!

  • Amira NK

The Marc Jacobs Magic Marc’er (goodness) liquid eyeliner! It’s the best i’ve tried on so far for an eyeliner noob. It goes on so smoothly and doesn’t budge! I’ve always feared Panda eyes.. This just prevents it after a looong day.

I don’t think I’ve used another highlighter since I bought Mac cream color base in shell. I rarely stick to one product for such a long time but it’s the best thing that I’ve bought all year!!

I’m having a moment with drugstore lip products; currently working on my stock of Revlon Lip Butters (Raspberry Pie is lovely) & Maybelline Color Elixirs (Vision in Violet..I mean, come on!). And I’ll have to throw in a SKINCARE development: Embryolisse’s Lait-Crème Concentrè is my new day-and-night moisturizer. My skin was so dehydrated by the end of the winter & needed something that was just like a big gulp of water and this did it!

  • Hayley

I just discovered the Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner pencil in Taupe and have been using it everyday since! I love the brown one so I’m not sure why it took me so long to try another shade, but the taupe is just perfect for natural definition, especially on the lower lash line!

  • Alisia

If I had to pick a new favorite, I’d pick Rimmel’s ScandalEyes. I love the mascaras and eyeliners. I especially love Rimmel’s ScandalEyes felt tip eyeliners. I received them from a freebie site and now I’m addicted to “cat eyes.” Alisia | Rimmel London #ScandalEyes

    • SamMcCall

I have 19 of them! I love love love them, clearly. They’re my favorite lip gloss. And now that Sephora is carrying 99 colors, wow, how goes a girl decide what colors to get?

  • PeonyandPeach

Definitely the Avon CC Cream, I’ve been wearing it every single day since I got it. It gives light coverage and has a really natural ‘undetectable’ finish on the skin. I also love that it has spf50 but still manages to be light in texture. I’ve also been loving Barry M Gelly Nail Paints, old news I know but new to me!

    http://www.peonyandpeach.blogspot.com

  • http://lucedelsol.blogspot.com/ Alex Anstett

Tarte inner rim liner! Quicker and longer lasting than just eyeshadow, and really makes a difference in how awake you look.

  • SamMcCall

Alterna’s 10 in 1 CC Cream for hair. It’s such an amazing product, whether you’re using it to style your hair or just running it through damp, clean hair after a shower. For me, it’s a game-changer and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

  • http://www.notesfromnatalee.blogspot.co.uk/ Natalee

Soap & Glory Sunshield Superfluid. It’s the sheerest, most lightweight SPF50 I’ve ever tried – huge boon for this combination/oily-skinned gal battling the Aussie sun :)
